Jane Anson
Fragrant, grippy, lovely floral fragrance, gentle cumin and cloves, less density through the mid palate than in recent vintages bu they have captured the finesse and potential of the vintage, and you will not have to wait too long to drink. One to look out for if the prices are good. 3.6ph, 100% new oak, Philippe Baillarguet cellar master. Harvest 20 September to 5 October. 92 points

The 2024 Moulin Saint-Georges is all charm. Soft, plummy and forward, the 2024 offers up an attractive mix of blue/purplish fruit, spice, lavender, menthol and violet. There`s a touch of sweet oak from the 100% new barrels, but the 2024 has enough depth to handle it. Pliant contours wrap it all together in style. This is another very pretty wine for the year. 89-91 points

The 2024 Moulin Saint-Georges was picked between September 25 to October 5 and aged for 18 months entirely in new barrels. This has quite an open and expressive bouquet with blackcurrant, raspberry, light pencil shavings and very subtle vanillary scents from the oak (which will assimilate with time). The palate is medium-bodied, bright and lively with crunchy tannins and a fine bead of acidity. Though not complex, the 2024 has a saline finish that maintains freshness and vigour. 90-92 points
