An even ruby crimson. A little more austere than the Caillerets on the nose, indeed classic Clos de Chênes in youth. Taking time to tease out the nose, but in the mouth, not quite immediately, appears a really significant burst of energetic fruit, as much cherry as raspberry, good acidity, indeed a classical structure. 92-94 points
