Nicolas Greinacher
The elegant 2024 Hermitage Le Gréal hails from the glass with cracked peppercorn, graphite, dried violets, stemmy nuances and spice box notes. Medium to full-bodied and remarkably smooth thanks to its near-silky tannin structure, it is an invigorating Le Gréal that is well on its way to becoming an instant classic. Not a loud wine, its power comes from its intensity and inner energy, carrying gracefully through to the long, spicy finish. Its elegance is almost Pinot-like. Such a beauty! 95-97 points
