The 2024 Bourgogne Hautes-Cotes de Nuits was taken directly from tank and had been fully de-stemmed. This has a fragrant bouquet with crushed strawberry and light red cherry scents that unfold nicely in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins and touches of sour cherry and strawberry. It just needs a little more tension to feed through on the finish but there is decent weight in context of the vintage. 85-87 points

Bottled three weeks ago. Four hectares from the 1970s, one being replanted. Less mildew and better flowering enabled 35 hl/ha overall. All destemmed. Fresh crimson, redcurrant and raspberry on the nose, but not shrill at the finish. More acidity than tannins, but lively and persistent, in fact lasting really well. 88 points
