The 2024 Corton Les Grandes Lolieres Grand Cru is one of Magnien`s ‘secret weapons’ and frequently punches above its weight. This is no exception with detailed, mineral-driven red berry fruit, beautifully focused and simmering with tension. The palate is medium-bodied with sculpted, edgy tannins, crisp acidity and satisfying backbone with more density on the finish than its peers. Superb for the vintage. 93 points

Three new barrels in four. Mid crimson in colour, not very much more profound in bouquet, though adding depth on the palate and a more subtle nuanced progression of fruit, in wavelets of fresh red berries. Refined tannins, enough acidity, good length. 91 points
