Media Reviews
Neal Martin
The 2024 Aloxe-Corton La Coutiere 1er Cru, cropped at a whopping 45hl/ha (FYI, more than there was in 2025), has a rather muted nose compared to the Gevrey cuvées, just missing a bit of vigour. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a fine line of acidity but somehow a bit conservative and lacks the animation and energy that Magnien gifts his cuvees. 87 points
Jasper Morris MW
Mid crimson purple. A little more depth of savoury red fruit on the nose, no great concentration, but coherent across the palate to a medium long finish. 89 points
