The Ktima Gerovassiliou 2024 Viognier shows the variety`s signature aromas of honeysuckle and sweet peach over a medium-rich texture and glossy finish. What sets this wine apart is its balance. Viognier can easily become heavy or waxy in warm climates, but here it remains polished, fresh and aromatically lifted. Fermentation and aging in French oak, including four months of lees contact, add texture and depth. Sourced from the estate`s fossil-rich sandy and calcareous soils near the Aegean Sea, this is a refined expression of a French grape in Greece. Production totals 25,000 bottles. 91 points
