The 2024 Givry Petit Marole 1er Cru Rouge is quite perfumed on the nose, scents of inkwell and cassis tincturing the red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a surprisingly ripe and generous entry, slightly lower in acidity but lifted by a peppery, almost garrigues-tinged finish. It will be difficult to resist in its youth. 88 points
