The 2024 Vosne-Romanee Village includes fruit from Les Jachees this year. There was quite a hefty reduction on the nose at present. The palate is also a little reductive although there is decent weight and structure with a grippy finish. It should resolve once in bottle. 87-89 points

This wine contains Jachees and Chalandins together, as Gilbert could not make Jachees apart as he did in 2023. Concentrated fresh purple. A little oak, a little lifted dark red fruit on the nose. Fine tension, good acidity, a touch of spice from the wood, will need time to integrate but the raw materials look good. 90-92 points
