The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny Vieilles Vignes includes the Vieilles Vignes and Clos Le Village this year. There is some reduction on the nose at the moment that makes it difficult to read. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, veins of blueberry and fine acidity but it feels just a bit stocky on the finish. It should mellow with one or two years in bottle. 86-88 points

With individual plots such as Clos Village and purchased Derriere le Four included, the Chambolle Vieilles Vignes counts as negociant in 2024. Recently sulphured when assembled in tank. Dark ruby to purple in colour. The nose has a certain depth of fruit, fresher raspberry with good acidity on the palate. A tiny bit saline even without whole bunches. Not forceful but interesting and quite persistent. 89-91 points
