Chalk, slate, rosebuds, super charming, this is a carefully constructed, remains a little bit on the quiet side of the vintage, walks the line of ripeness, with an understated finesse and plenty of Margaux typicity. Helfrich family owners, 40hl/ha yield. 92 points

The 2024 du Tertre is packed with blackberry, graphite, incense, licorice, chocolate and cloves, all of which confer somber gravitas. There`s enough depth to make me think the 2024 will come together nicely in the cellar. This is nicely done. 90-92 points

The 2024 Chateau du Tertre has a delineated and focused bouquet, with pure black plum, blueberry fruit and violet aromas. The oak is prudently used. The palate is medium-bodied with a bit of chewiness on the entry and light grip. This attenuates slightly toward the finish but there is freshness and sapidity. Not a long-term du Tertre but I think it is well made. 90-92 points
