Peaches and lime in this brilliant oak-aged Verdejo, with the texture of lees aging imparting a Champagne-like taste across the mid-palate, topped off with a lick of some very smart wood. The iconic white 2024 Belondrade y Lurton feels elegant and harmonious. It was produced with Verdejo from their organic vineyard in the Quinta San Diego estate property in La Seca and fermented by plot with indigenous yeasts in barrels, where it matured between nine and 12 months with lees. It`s not a shy vintage; it hits 14.5% alcohol, but the wine is very balanced, clean and precise with very good freshness and acidity, reflected by the pH of 3.22 and 5.95 grams of acidity. It reveals the classical bitter touch in the finish. 118,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in July 2025. 95 points

A fantastic vintage of this classic wine from the estate’s vineyards in La Seca, the wine is immediately mineral and stony on the nose with delicate smokey and citrus aromas. The acid is vibrant and the finish saline, and the palate is at once elegant and structured. While the wine will age beautifully, it is also very appealing right now - one of the flagships of the region. 2026-32. 96 points
