The 2023 Cote-Rotie begins with pronounced black cherry, forest strawberry and dried violets. A touch of red plum adds further fruit complexity. Midweighted and concentrated, the 2023 shows brilliantly at this youthful stage, delivering fruit-driven allure, ultra-refined tannins and outstanding length. The 2023 jumps at you right away, and while there is assured ageing potential, it will be quite hard to resist in its youth. Outstanding. 95 points
