The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeot Tete de Clos 1er Cru has another seductive bouquet with touches of yellow plum and white flowers, plus a patina of grilled almond. The palate is fresh and quite saline on the entry with impressive weight, though perhaps doesn`t quite deliver as much complexity on the finish as some of Charles Ballot`s other cuvees this year. Still, this is worth seeking out. 90 points
