Sur Gamay, or above the village of Gamay. This cuvee used to be labelled after its lieu-dit Sous le Roche Dumay, which is the very highest spot in the high Sur Gamay vineyard. Alex notes that this high spot with good aspect never has any trouble ripening. Notes of pear, with a real minty, menthol touch. Balanced in the mouth with a zesty finish; leaves behind a distinct mineral impression. (NT 09/12/24)
