The 2023 Chablis Vaudesir Grand Cru has a more backward nose that at the moment is surpassed by a couple of Droin`s excelling Premier Crus like the Montee de Tonnerre. Light apple blossom and lemon rind. The palate is well balanced with fine depth, and a crisp line of acidity. It gently builds toward a more spicy finish. Very fine, but not the best Grand Cru from the Domaine this year. 91 points

The grapes come from both sides of the valley. The 2023 Vaudésir shows a pale lemon yellow colour. Strict yet powerful on the nose. All white fruit. A fine stone laden backbone, elegance with intensity, while the late season sunshine enriches the finish. Really very persistent and never loses finesse. 40% wood. 93-95 points
