The 2022 Riesling Erdener Treppchen Alte Reben Grosses Gewachs was purchased in 1993, just above the Pralat site, higher in elevation. The exact age of the vines is unknown, but they are estimated to have been planted in the 1880s. Tangerine is hauntingly hinted at on the nose; the palate brings lasting allure of tangerine, peel and pulp, intense and headily aromatic, yet grounded, profound, super clear, luminous with citrus aroma, and so vivid.
