2022 Cyprien Arlaud Vosne-Romanee aux Reas

A fascinating plot worked by horse and hand, as they cannot get access with the tractor. Super sensual yet with total finesse, a depth of fruit, a feeling of royalty in the quality, a little touch of quality pepper at the finish but it is evidently the vineyard speaking. Still needs to harmonise further, but this is very fine. Drink from 2030-2037. 92-94 points

The 2022 Vosne-Romanee Aux Reas was showing quite a bit of reduction on the nose when I tasted it. The palate is medium-bodied with gentle grip and mainly dark berry fruit. It’s slightly granular in texture with an off-dry, rather structured finish. Fine. 89-91 points
