Jasper Morris
A pretty mid ruby colour. Fresh raspberry, very sensual up front, firmer tannins behind, but the fruit covers them nicely. Linear in style, good acidity, and with a more complex crunch to the fruit at the back. Drink from 2028-2033. 90-91 points

The 2022 Morey-Saint-Denis Village comes from two parcels. Raised in 10% new oak, it has a light sea spray note that fuses with the mainly black fruit, then becomes more floral in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins, as you expect from a Morey-Village, with fine weight, finishing with a dash of black pepper. A capable Morey-Saint-Denis that will require a couple of years in bottle. 87-89 points
