Water white. A more voluptuous nose than the Gruner Hinter der Burg Federspiel. Round, fully ripe lime flavours and a light chalkiness on the finish. Very brisk and clean – almost like mouthwash. Really spreads across the palate. Rather glorious, even if a little denser than many Federspiels. Much more evolved than the Gruner. Long. 17 points
