The 2021 Riesling Bernkasteler Badstube Auslese * (Green Capsule) is still discreet but concentrated and fine on the densely mineral nose that reveals notes of crushed blue slate, slate oil and dense Riesling aromas. Round, dense and savory on the palate, this is a mouth-filling, very fine and elegant Auslese with fine phenolic grip on the finish. 9.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in May 2023. 94 points
