The 2021 Geronimo is a Cinsault blend that was augmented with Franschhoek fruit to the Stellenbosch, 40% whole bunch fermented. Loggerenberg believes that this cuvée is the one that has benefitted from the new winery as he has the space to leave the juice on the skins longer. It has a very perfumed bouquet with red cherries, crushed strawberry and traces of blue fruit and rose petal. The palate is medium-bodied with lithe tannins, slightly powdery in texture with a lovely piquancy on the finish. Beautiful. 93 points
