2021 La Tour de By (Medoc)
Secondary Description
Plum, smoked meats and Chinese spice, with a touch of volatility giving an extra edge to the spice. A little on the thin and disjointed side now, this feels like it needs a couple more years to come together. (NT 31/05/22)

William Kelley
A Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend, the 2021 La Tour de By mingles notions of smoky cherries, plums and spices in an inviting bouquet, followed by a medium to full-bodied palate that`s classically proportioned, with a pretty core of fruit and typical Médoc grip on the finish. 87-88 points
Neal Martin
The 2021 Tour de By is straightforward with light graphite-tinged black fruit on the nose. The medium-bodied palate delivers sappy black fruit, fine acidity, good concentration and a classic, tobacco-tinged finish. Enjoy this over the next decade. 87-89 points
Jane Anson
Classic sulpted Médoc, high acidity with fruit that is sappy but a little dilute. 50h/h yield; 12 months ageing. 85 points
