Gunderloch`s 2021 Rothenberg Riesling trocken GG shows a coolish, more flinty, herbal and remote nose next to the Pettenthal and is perhaps the more aristocratic Riesling, with yeasty and oaky notes that are super discreet but give a textural richness that softens the first impressions a bit. In fact, the palate is generous, textured and very elegant, with ripe, lush and elegant fruit and a very long, saline and crystalline finish. 12.5% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in August 2022. 95 points
