2020 Vassaltis Assyrtiko Santorini

A crisp. classic expression of Santorini Assyrtiko from Vassaltis, with ripe apple, quince, grapefruit and gooseberry aromas, with hints of fig and freshly-cut grass. The palate is deft and zesty, with lemon and lime on the fruit and a hint of autolytic influence on a long, bracing finish. Well-balanced, refreshing and superb with fish dishes; a delight.
