The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Chenevottes 1er Cru has a more austere, mineral-driven bouquet than Jean-Claude Bachelet`s Les Macherelles. It`s well-defined with hints of orange blossom and orchard fruit. The palate is well-balanced with a crisp line of acidity. The oak here is neatly integrated, cohesive and poised with a sapid, peppery finish that urges you back for me. Recommended. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. 91 points
