The 2020 Riesling Urziger Wurzgarten Kabinett (Green Capsule) is discreet on the clear and subtly intense nose that reveals lemon thyme and flinty slate aromas. Lush and mouth-fillingly round, with crystalline and saline acidity, this is a young but promising Kabinett that I wouldn`t have thought came from the Wurzgarten if I had tasted this blind. The finish, however, is generously fruity. 9.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022. 92 points
