Far from shy and retiring, the powerful, tannic 2019 Bourgueil Pavillon du Grand Clos positively grips the mouth. Hailing from the low-yielding 2019 vintage, this top cuvée is ripe and round with dark berries, smoke and toasty notes abounding. Long, scented and rather brooding. You`re going to need to put this one in the cellar. 93 points
