The 2019 Pinot Noir Brauneberger Klostergarten *** opens with a creamy nose offering some smoke and dark red cherry. A lovely brightness and clarity marks out cherry with a touch of cocoa. Concentrated and beautiful, bright acidity is countered by well-judged oak. Fine tannins come with a gentle crunch. Very elegant. 91 points
