Tasted from tank, the 2019 Pouilly-Fumé Aubaine comes from a one-hectare parcel on Kimmeridgian soils and is set for release in late 2021. It`s gentle, open and welcoming, offering peach and florals and the merest hint of smokiness. A very tender style that shows excellent concentration from low yields. Compared with the 2018, this delivers much more length, finesse and balance. It`s an appealing drink that can be enjoyed now for its youthful fruit but also has the fine structure to go 6–8 years. 90 points
