The 2019 Bouscaut Blanc has developed nicely in barrel, revealing nectarine, honeysuckle and fresh pear aromas that gain intensity in the glass. The palate is well balanced if maybe a little oaky on the entry, although that should be subsumed with time. Give this a couple of years to fully integrate. 90+ points

Always one of the richer more textured Pessac whites, and it lives up to type in this vintage, given a welcome sense of restraint by savoury citrus freshness through the finish. Accomplished and confident, nectarine and white pear fruits, plenty to love. A yield of 42hl/ha. 40% new oak. 93 points

A blend of 32% Semillon and 68% Sauvignon Blanc, harvested between the 2nd and 17th of September, the 2019 Blanc came in at 42 hectoliters per hectare and 14% alcohol. It soars from the glass with notes of lemon curd, spiced apples and freshly shaved ginger plus hints of lime blossoms, kumquat and white pepper. Medium bodied, the palate has a racy backbone cutting through the intense citrus and apple flavors, finishing with a spicy kick. 90-92 points
