2018 Kershaw GPS Series Chardonnay

The 2018 Chardonnay Kershaw GPS Lower Duivenhoks River, matured in French oak (43.6% new... exactly!) has a finely tuned bouquet of yellow plum, almond, chamomile and light apricot blossom scents, the oak nicely integrated. The palate is very well balanced, displaying fine acidity and poise. This is almost disarmingly harmonious. Fleeting touches of quince and orange zest are revealed toward the finish. Warning: You will definitely finish a bottle, even if you didn’t plan to. 93 points
