An English Master of Wine who originally trained as a chef, but switched careers to become a chef de cave (winemaker). He branched out on his own in 2012, making wines in the cool-climate region of Elgin. He cultivates Pinot, Chardonnay and Syrah from site specific vineyards and is gaining world recognition and high demand for his elegant, high quality wines. /JH
