Allen Meadows
An exceptionally fresh nose combines notes of plum and violet with those of dark currant and spice. There is both good volume and density to the vibrant middle weight flavors that conclude in a bitter cherry pit-inflected finish that is sufficiently structured to reward 5 to 8 years of cellaring. 87-89 points
