This is a very savoury bottle - I see a lovely future for tertiary acidity here. Vibrant fruit meets animal energy. The aftertaste uncovers another, more mineral layer. Extremely impressive. (NT 20/02/19)

The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis En La Rue de Vergy comes from Felettig’s négociant arm, although he conducts the harvest and vinification. There is some reduction on the nose that blurs the edges at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin and well-judged acidity, quite fresh and sorbet-like in style, with veins of orange zest toward the finish. Good potential here. 89-91 points
