The 2015 Brücke Spätlese is a stunning young wine and it is extremely floral in personality this year. The gorgeous bouquet delivers a great blend of pear, white cherries, wild yeasts, orange blossoms and a lovely potpourri of gentle Brücke spice tones. On the palate the wine is pure, fullish, filigreed and beautifully complex, with great cut and grip, laser-like focus and a very, very long, electric finish that closes with a nice note of orange peel in reserve. This is fully ten grams per liter of acidity, buffered by somewhere around seventy grams per liter of residual sugar. It is a brilliant wine that should age for a very, very long time. Drink 2022-2055. 95+ points
