The 2014 Le Sol has a peat character both on the nose and in the mouth. The wine is brooding and dense and savory, with venison and cumin, clove, fennel seeds, and black sesame. An interesting wine, it is one that really has a peated finish shown in a little wisp of bonfire through the finish. 14.2% alcohol, sealed under cork. 91 points
