2014 Arlaud Charmes Chambertin
Secondary Description
On the nose, the 2014 Arlaud Charmes Chambertin is extremely seductive pulling the taster in to a land of perfectly ripe, red fruit. It has a zingy attack, presence and length. Texture is sensual and this does everything with poise and elegance. (CW 5/11/15)

The 2014 Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru has a very composed bouquet with intense red cherries, wild strawberry and raspberry preserve aromas, offering that sensuality Burgundy-lovers seek from a Charmes-Chambertin. The palate is medium-bodied and showing the hand of the oak a little at the moment, but it is in proportion with the fruit and the finish maintains fine delineation. 91-93 points

Located in the highest part of Mazoyères, this is `more Latricières than Charmes`, according to Cyprien Arlaud. Minerally, spicy and showing the perfume and structure of 25% whole bunches, this is a very polished wine showing the focus and charm of a cooler site. Drink 2019-29. 95 points
