2014 Arlaud Chambolle-Musigny Sentiers
Secondary Description
The Arlauds have had the Sentiers vineyard in Chambolle for four generations but until 1999 it always went in the Village Chambolle. It has distinctly perfumed, red cherry - almost maquillage - scent. Very fine tannins and a very complete wine with a long, mineral finish. (CW 5/11/15)

Neal Martin
The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru les Sentiers, which contains 15% whole bunch fruit and matured in 25% new oak, has a harmonious bouquet with sous-bois-tinged red berry fruit, nonchalant and effortless in style. The palate is nicely structured with mint-tinged red and black fruit, harmonious and supple in the mouth with an almost candied sweetness conveyed on the finish. This is a commendable Les Sentiers to enjoy over the next 10-12 years. 90-92 points
