Lilian Barton purchased this property from the daughter of the late Mdm Gasqueton at Calon-Segur. The 2012 is her first vintage, although I believe it was too soon to enact any changes in the vineyard or winery. It has a lifted, perfumed bouquet of redcurrant and a touch of raspberry cheesecake that is nicely defined. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins. There is plenty of clean fresh red berry fruit. It is natural and refined, although to be honest it does fade towards its attenuated finish. But it will be interesting to see what happens at this Moulis property now that it is in the hands of Lilian. 86-88 points
