Sarah Marsh
Inviting subtly perfumed aroma. The palate ripples gently and elegantly in a river of silk. This wine is all about texture and perfume. Subtle, delicate yet rich. It is a fine balance to achieve in this vintage and the finish is very pure and long and woven with minerality and fruit. Fine+ From 2016

Bright medium red. Vibrant, expressive aromas of red cherry liqueur, raspberry, minerals and mint. Then densely packed, juicy and showy on the palate, with fresh acidity and a floral element accentuating the wine`s red fruit flavors. Finishes with very suave but firm tannins, a hint of medicinal reserve and lovely length and lift. As sexy as this is now, it will probably be better in a decade. 91-94 points

Really does smell of chestnuts! And compost. Dry finish – needs lots of time – quite brutal now. Firm tannins but lots of fruit concentration. Serious stuff. Drying tannins for the moment. Drink 2016-2026. 17 points
