Stephen Tanzer
(from two parcels in the same area, near Les Evocelles) Good bright, full red. Expressive nose offers wild red fruits, hints of smoke and game and a whiff of chocolate. Very ripe and gamey on the palate, with a sweet, smooth texture given shape by nicely integrated acidity. This juicy midweight is showy already. The wild red fruits carry through to the persistent, perfumed finish. Should make a very good village wine. 87-90 points
