2009 Jean Grivot Vosne-Romanee Aux Brulees
Secondary Description
Transparent again, restrained, seductively structured - hint of new oak, nice cherry fruit, the freshness is as much mineral as simply acid, a very cleansing wine. Ripe, silky tannins and lots of `em. This is a south facing vineyard. (CW 03/11/10)

Sarah Marsh
Ripe aroma with a real sensation of richness. The attack is full, dark and spicy. Very generous.
Full palate, dark, full broad and powerful. This has edge of bitter chocolate, spice tension and
vigour. Fine+ From 2017
Allen Meadows
A strikingly spicy, ripe and quite densely fruited nose speaks of earth, smoke, red
currant liqueur and black berries while sliding gracefully into rich, generous and sappy medium weight flavors that possess a
beguiling mouth feel on the impressively intense and long finish. This is relatively robust with good muscle and verve and
should make for a stunning wine in 10 to 12 years. 92-94 points
