Sarah Marsh
3.5 hectares of Clos des Porrets. The sample is a bit of an approximation as it is such a large cuvee and it is not yet all together. There is a little more new oak than there will be on the final wine. Lifted more red fruit character. Bright with a waft of gun-smoke. Sweet and svelte tannins, satinsmooth, elegant, supple juicy on the finish….lots of wild forest berry fruit. This is much easier to access and will come forward sooner. Fine. From 2015

Heady and rich and very come hither – much more so than most recent vintages of Gouges. Masses of alcohol. Drink 2016-2022 16+ points
