Stephen Tanzer

(aged in stainless steel and concrete). Bright, deep red. High-toned, liqueur-like cherry and raspberry aromas are lifted by a minty quality. Sweet cherry pie fruit almost suggests residual sugar but an underlying chalky quality leavens the exotic impression. Finishes with lingering notes of black cherry and licorice. Aromatic more than powerful, for drinking in the next three or four years. 88 points
