From a super vintage we are delighted to offer a (or perhaps more correctly the) Valpolicella of Giuseppe Quintarelli. This is the man who prior to his death in 2012 had spent a long lifetime perfecting the undervalued wines of his region. If you want to drink the wines of a real maestro, then this is the place to start. The Valpolicella has more depth and complexity than many Amarones and certainly needs decanting. It is a fabulous wine to have with all sorts of dishes, whether pulse, meat or cheese based. (CW 25/01/16)
