Opaque purple. Explosively perfumed, expansive bouquet of blackberry, cherry-vanilla, baking spices and incense. Lush and sweet, with powerful, oak-spiced cherry and dark berry flavors and chewy texture. Packed with dense fruit but the oak is pretty pronounced right now: will it be absorbed before bottling? I prefer the elegance of the Emilie today. 91+ points
