This release, bottled 9 April 2021, was selected from 82 barrels in the Tio Pepe solera. According to head winemaker Antonio Flores, `This year, without all the usual visits and tastings, I spent a lot longer than I usually do selecting the finest casks of Fino and I am absolutely certain that people will love this year’s bottling.` Deep copper gold (darker than Hidalgo`s La Gitana en rama). Deeply perfumed and pungent with real bite. Very much a food wine with more body and less salt than the Hidalgo version. 16.5 points
