Monica Larner
An easy-drinking and accessible wine, the Ktima Gerovassiliou 2025 Malagousia highlights the variety`s irresistible floral charm. Notes of tuberose, jasmine and sweet peach take center stage, supported by a softly textured palate and a subtle thread of minerality on the finish. Widely credited with helping revive Malagousia, the estate continues to showcase why the grape has become one of Greece`s most promising white varieties. Fermented in oak and aged on the lees for four months, the wine gains texture without losing its aromatic freshness. Produced in 210,000 bottles, this is a delightful and uncomplicated white that begs to be enjoyed well chilled by the sea. 92 points

25% is aged in used oak.
Definite varietal aroma but not over the top. Floral and peachy. Mouth-filling and still really fresh. Nicely rounded on the finish. Real presence in this wine from the person who rescued this variety, Evangelos Gerovassiliou. 17 points
