Jane Anson
Love the juicy slate grip on the opening here, great quality and hard to argue with. Delivers personality depth and grip, harvest September 2 to 19, 3.1ph, 40hl/h yield, 25% new oak. 93 points

The 2024 Carbonnieux Blanc is redolent of lemon peel, chalk, slate, mint and white pepper. This brisk, refreshing dry white bristles with tension and saline-infused energy. It will drink beautifully over the next handful of years, maybe more. 91-93 points

The 2024 Carbonnieux Blanc has quite an expressive bouquet with peach and lychee notes unfolding in the glass. This is a little more exotic than its peers though it is attractive. The palate is well balanced, with a malic entry and hints of orange pith and apricot, although the finish displays a shortfall in complexity and feels a tad shorter than I would have liked. 87-89 points
